Message from the Security Council Chair

Welcome! The Security Council is a very vital organ and possesses the crème de la crème of delegates. I, Parita Parekh, Secretary General of AIMUN 2009 and President of the Security Council along with Dharmik Patel, Deputy President of Security Council will be guiding you to a very cherished MUN experience.

This year we will be working towards achieving Goal 8 of the Millennium Development Goals- Global Partnership for Development. Here, we will have vehement discussions and sharing of ideas in accordance to “The situation in Gaza”. The humanitarian situation in Gaza is extreme and needs to be resolved at the soonest. Human Rights at their basic are being challenged with an outrageous number killed and tortured. We will treat the situation as an emergency.
