  • A TALK BY DR. ADAM HART-DAVIS
    British Council had organized a talk by Dr.Adam Hart Davis a well known Scientist from the U.K. on ‘Hands on Science’ for high school students. He gave a talk with live demonstrations about the history of hands on science, and how we can learn a lot about physics using exceedingly simple homemade apparatus. He spoke on different scientists and their contribution to science with live experiments.
  • iota 2012 - An exhibition on Math and Science
    iota 2012 - An exhibition on Math and Science has been organized by the students of Grade 8 to 11. The students have made different models and charts on Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics. All the parents are cordially invited.
  • Picnics
    Picnics are a part of our curriculum for which the children are always excited and thrilled. Students from Jr. Kg. to Grade 3 visited Indroda Park and Grade 4 to Grade 12 visited Tirupati Farms. It was a fun filled day with lots of euphoria around.
  • Dance Party
    As every year, the school had organized a Christmas Dance Party for Grade 6 onwards. The music and the ambience held the students enthralled.
  • Camp to Mt. Abu
    Students of Grade 5 went for a camp to Mt. Abu. The chilly weather added to the gusto just to make it more memorable!
  • AIS CHRISTMAS CARNIVAL
    TODDEN, AIS has organised a Christmas Carnival for all the pre-primary students on December 22, 2011 from 5:30 onwards at AIS. The students who are going to join us from the next academic year are also cordially invited for the same. Those who have not collected the passes are requested to collect it from the frontdesk at AIS. It will be a fun evening with games, treats and gifts.
  • Trinity Guildhall Music Exams at AIS
    225 students of Ahmedabad and Baroda took the Trinity Guildhall Music Practical Exams on various Instruments. Mr. Edwin Hooson, the examiner also conducted a workshop and gave valuable inputs.
  • Annual Day at AIS
    Annual Day was celebrated on December 10, 2011 by all the students.
    The theme 'Que Sera Sera' - an innovative dance fusion choreographed by renowned kathak dancers Maulik and Ishira Parikh left the audience spellbound.
  • The 14th Batch of 200 students from Ahmedabad & Baroda took the Trinity Speech & Drama and Communication Skills examination. The examiner Ms. Woolford Claire gave valuable inputs to the teachers on improvising the performance of the students.
  • Vaishnavi Bhimani, Akanksha Shah and Ruchi Shah have been selected for participation in the state level spot painting competition on the theme "Conserve Water for Future" being organized at Gujarat Science City by Ministry of Water Resources and Central Ground Water Board.
  • Anoushka Parikh who was selected for ASIA YOUTH CHAMPIONSHIP, CHIBA JAPAN won the bronze medal in Under 15 (Girls Doubles), Badminton, doing us and India proud.
  • Nishant, Naman, Luv , Parth and Siddhant from IBDP-2 participated in Debating Matters India organized by British Council. The students cleared the first round which is an online elimination round to enter into the regional round.
  • China Trip
    IBDP-1 and AS Level students visited Beijing, China for their CAS programme. The students interacted with children of Sun Zhuang Zi Centre Basic School between age group 5 and 15. They taught them English, Art & Design, Traditional Folk Dance (Garba) and Popular Dance Steps.

  • British Council Workshop at AIS on 24, September, 2011
    AIS is hosting a one-day professional development workshop for English Language Teachers and trainers in collaboration with The British Council and ELTAI (English Language Teachers' Association of India) Around 300 teachers have registered for this workshop.

    Assemblies are meant to showcase the attributes of the learner profile. It gives a glimpse of the learning engagements in the classroom. These presentations build confidence in students to perform in front of the targeted audience. The students of Grade 3 had a presentation on the unit of water.   • Anoushka Parikh selected for ASIA YOUTH CHAMPIONSHIP, CHEEBA JAPAN
    We take great pleasure and pride to state that Anoushka Parikh, student of Grade IX has been selected in the Badminton Team which is to represent India at the ASIA YOUTH CHAMPIONSHIP to be held in CHEEBA, JAPAN from 5th -9th October 2011. She will be a part of Under 15 Contingent. Currently she is undergoing a special training at the National Camp held in Lucknow having won the ALL INDIA RANKING TOURNAMENT at Indore in August.
