Objective

The Ahmedabad International School Model United Nations (AIMUN) aims to mould students as peace loving, global citizens who engage in dialogues, discussions, negotiations and debates to reach consensual goals. A student ‘delegate’ would be better informed through research, involvement and interaction, of views and interests of other country delegates thereby gaining better understanding and moving towards the larger goal of world co-operation and peace which is the ultimate objective of the United Nations

Committees

The aims of the United Nations (UN) are to maintain international peace and security, to safeguard human rights, to provide a mechanism for international law, and to promote social and economic progress, improve living standards and fight diseases. It provides the opportunity for countries to balance global interdependence and national interests when addressing international problems.
